Changing File Permissions Using WS-FTP

NOTE: These instructions are specific to the WS-FTP application in setting permissions for CGI.

  1. Start WS-FTP
  2. Connect to www.onewest.net, using your userid and password for authentication
  3. Select the file or directory that you need to change permissions on using your left mouse button.
  4. "Right-click" on the file or directory and you will get the following dialog box. Select chmod (UNIX)

     

  5. Now you should see the following dialog box. To set permissions to 700 as required by CGI Wrap, mark the appropriate boxes as shown below, then click the OK button
